A life-long resident of Long Island, Barry was raised on the South Shore. He has lived with his family for 17 years on the North Shore where he has been active in many community and charitable organizations. According to Paley, his two sons who are both graduates of the famed Jericho Schools, are thriving. Lucas, a recent graduate of Quinnipiac College with a BS in Marketing and Troy, currently Towson University where he is majoring in business/marketing, received the greatest foundation and preparation for higher learning through their formative years on Long Island.

Paley has traveled extensively yet Long Island is home. With its diverse culture offering in music, cuisine, art and literature, the ‘Island’ has always been a bounty of wonder. Add beautiful beaches, sprawling natural preserves and pristine parks for family recreation and it’s a paradise.

A History of Entrepreneurship

Barry is a true entrepreneur; entrenched for 30 years in New York City's garment center and financial districts, plus managing his own real estate investment firm, with properties as far as Florida, Barry's business and marketing skills translated well into the real estate field. With hands-on experience, his travails afford a definite edge in buying and selling properties, which include negotiating terms, identifying funding, pricing, listing and marketing properties. Over the years, he has invested in numerous properties from Manhattan to Montauk including the Hamptons. Thus, he maintains an extensive network of professional support including attorneys, appraisers, inspectors, stagers, contractors, cleaning services and more.

Paley enjoys Tennis, Swimming and Biking , invigorating sports that keep the body healthy and able to keep up his hectic pace of a 7-day a week career. He also catches the occasional ball game especially fond of Football and Basketball. He’s also made his love of fine thoroughbred racing a passion which ties in with his fondness for the beautiful equines.

When not heavily involved in his business, he can get away and unwind with confidence relying on his team to keep him informed. He combines his love of travel with his search for the finest foods the world has to offer, taking the time to search out great values in wine and dining with a fondness for rich italian cuisine and french bordeauxs.
